Our Vision
GRC's Gender and Child Justice Division advances victim-centred practices through the application of international law in contexts of atrocity and oppression. Through the implementation of gender-transformative and child-sensitive approaches in different contexts, the Division contributes to developing and supporting inclusive justice processes for victims and survivors of atrocity crimes and human rights abuses, including sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and crimes against and affecting children (CAAC).
To advance holistic justice and accountability, the Division partners with and advises survivor-led organisations and networks, civil society organisations, national criminal justice and law enforcement actors, and international justice mechanisms.
