GRC is launching new Standard Operating Procedures in the cases concerning collaboration activities

Global Rights Compliance is pleased to announce the publication of new Standard Operating Procedures (‘SOPs’), a tool for investigators and prosecutors in cases concerning collaboration activities under Article 111-1 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.

Read SOPs in English here.

These SOPs are designed to provide clear practical guidance by translating complex legal rules into sequenced investigative steps that can be applied in collaboration cases. At the same time, they ensure that investigations remain consistent with the principles of Ukrainian criminal law, international humanitarian law and international human rights law. The SOPs are complementary to GRC’s Practitioner Handbook for Interviewing Suspects and Witnesses under Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and Nationwide Database of Decisions between 2022-2025.

Scott Martin, International Legal Advisor for GRC, noted that “the SOPs provide practical and strategic direction for addressing collaboration cases in Ukraine while safeguarding consistency with international law”.

The development of these SOPs was made possible with the support of the European Union: Service for Foreign Policy Instruments.
