GRC провела тренінг для правоохоронців Херсонщини
Мобільна команда правосуддя щодо сексуального насильства пов’язаного зі збройним конфліктом провела тренінг для прокурорів та слідчих Херсонської області. Спеціалісти GRC, Карін Ардо та Анастасія Моісеєва, розповідали про стандарти проведення процесуальних інтерв’ю з постраждалими за моделлю PEACE.
Керівниця МКП Карін Ардо зазначила, що досвід українських правоохоронців – унікальний для всього світу, адже розслідування і переслідування злочинів відбувається під час повномасштабної збройної агресії Росії проти України.
Херсонщина – регіон, в якому зареєстрована найбільша кількість злочинів сексуального насильства, скоєних під час повномасштабного вторгнення Росії в Україну. За даними Офісу генерального прокурора, з початку повномасштабної військової агресії РФ прокурори зафіксували 292 факти СНПК (щодо чоловіків – 103, жінок – 189, з них щодо неповнолітніх – 15, з яких 14 дівчат та 1хлопець). Рекордна кількість – у Херсонській області – 86 випадків.
GRC продовжує проводити тренінги в звільнених регіонах України. Мобільні команди правосуддя працюють як частина Міжнародної Консультативної групи з питань найтяжчих злочинів ACA Group, яка була ініційована урядами США, ЄС та Великої Британії для допомоги Україні в притягненні до відповідальності винних у злочинах, скоєних під час повномасштабної війни росії проти України.

GRC conducts training for law enforcement agencies in Kherson region
The Conflict-Related Sexual Violence Mobile Justice Team conducted training for prosecutors and investigators in Kherson region. GRC specialists, Karine Ardault and Anastasiia Moiseieva, talked about the international standards for conducting interviews with victims according to the PEACE model.
Karine Ardault, Head of the MJT, noted that the Ukrainian law enforcement officers’ experience is unique for the whole world, as the investigation and prosecution of crimes take place during Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
“We see great progress in the way Ukrainian prosecutors and investigators work on CRSV crimes that have been committed since 2014. Since the full-scale invasion, the interview techniques of investigationspecialists dealing with survivors of conflict-related sexual violencehave improved significantly. This is also due to the creation of a dedicated division within the OPG that specializes in conflict-related sexual violence. This contributes to ensuring that investigations are led with a victim-centered and a trauma-informed manner according to international standards,” said Karine Ardault.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military aggression, prosecutors have recorded 292 cases of CRSV (103 against men, 189 against women, 15 of them against minors, including 14 girls and 1 boy). Kherson region is the region with the highest number of CRSV crimes committed since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine with 86 cases.
GRC continues to conduct trainings in all de-occupied regions of Ukraine. The Mobile Justice Teams operate as part of Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group (ACA Group), initiated by the US, EU and UK governments to help Ukraine in bringing to justice those responsible for crimes committed during Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
